PLATFORM
DESIGN & ROTATION
Decrease truck setup time, while allowing operators to position
themselves more easily by taking advantage of the VST's 180° platform
rotation. The side-by-side boom configuration and outer boom
articulation gives the operator ground access to the platform from the
rear, side, or front of the truck.
GREATER WORKING HEIGHTS
Achieve working heights up to 55 ft when mounted on a 84 in. cab to
axle chassis. Reach ever greater heights, up to 65 ft of working
height, when mounted on a 102 in. cab to axle chassis.
COMPENSATED BOOMS
A compensation link allows the upper boom to maintain a constant angle
relative to the ground as the lower boom is articulated. This
allows the operator to reach the work position more efficiently.
FACTORY STANDARD SAFETY FEATURES
The upper boom insulation gap, which meets ANSI A92.2 dielectric
requirements, is maintained when the inner boom is fully retracted.
The lower boom insert (chassis insulating system), which provides as
24 in. insulation gap, is standard on all units.

MINIMAL
MAINTENANCE
Designed for extremely low maintenance with non-lube bearings used at
all points of motion. These non-lube bearings are warranted for
the life of the machine. The only required lubrication is the
rotation bearing and the extension chain. There is no mandatory
overhaul period as long as the periodic inspections are performed.
OPTIONAL JIB AND WINCH
A material handling jib and winch with up to 1,000 lbs. capacity is
provided at the platform. The jib is designed to maintain a
constant angle relative to the platform during boom travel in
addition, full hydraulic jib articulation and extension are available.
HYDRAULIC PLATFORM LEVELING
Hydraulic platform leveling, with controls at both the pedestal and
platform, provide for simplified clean out and easy removal of an
injured operator.
BRIDGE LAW CONSIDERATIONS
A stowed travel height of 11 ft. 11 in. and the ability to stow the
basket and options within the confines of the body, makes the VST an
extremely compact lift that easily meets all federal bridge law
regulations. |
