Small doghouse
(XD and SD) increases payload, releases load easier for better
cleanout. Rail and braces are outwardly sloped to shed dirt,
debris and water. |

One-Piece
front corner posts are stylish in appearance, contoured and
aerodynamic to reduce wind drag while adding strength to the
body. Sides are one-piece hi-tensile steel with continuous
weld braces and rails to present a strong, dent-resistant
body. Side sheets are seamless with no welds to crack or
fatigue. Steel specification depends on model selected. |

Longitudinals
are constructed of 8" structural I-beams with no splices for
superior strength. A low center of gravity is achieved with
an 8" mounting height. Underside is primed black for
installation convenience. |

One-piece
modular cradle incorporated the body props, body guides and
greaseless composite hoist bearings to reduce mounting time and
minimize frame clutter. |

Heavy-duty
offset hinges plates integrated with flush-mounted hardware
provide a strong streamlined tailgate pivot. Inside body width
tapers 2" from front to rear for easier release of sticky,
hard-to-handle loads. |

Tailgate
latches are flame-cut steel mounted to large steel reinforcing
plates for proven, reliable service. Extra deep tailgate braces
and top rail are sloped to shed dirt and water. The gate
itself is constructed of hi-tensile steel. |

Stop/turn/tail
light in each rear corner post with side clearance light and
reflectors. Highly visible, yet recessed for
protection. Full depth (4-3/4" x 12", 7-gauge
steel) rear corner post is tied to an 8" structural channel
rear apron to resist spreading of sides. Wider posts allow
space for customized light packages. |

Seamless floor
has 4" floor-to-side radius entire length for quicker
clean-out and less load hang up. Optional asphalt lip
shown. One-piece floor is of high strength steel for
superior dent and puncture resistance. There are various
steel specifications depending on the model chosen and customer
requirements. |

The rear hinge
assembly utilizes a heavy duty 6"x8"x1/2" structural
angle for superior resistance to twisting. Stainless steel
2" diameter pins connect through 2-1/2" block using
greaseless composite (optional on HD) bushings for a tight
fit. Advantages include: reduce body sway for greater
stability, elimination of routine maintenance, greatly extended
hinge assembly life with no cutting or welding required for
repairs. |

Shock-resistant
stop/turn/tail lights and I.C.C. 3-light cluster are provided with
a one-piece sealed wiring harness. |

|
|
Air tailgate
release with spring-over-center latch operates form the cab,
utilizes a highly reliable air brake chamber. Tail gate
remains latched even if air pressure is lost. |
|
|
|
|
Side-mounted
hydraulic oil tank is equipped with oil level sight and
temperature gauge. Tank has fittings at both ends so it can
be mounted on either side of truck frame. Magnetic drain
plug and screened suction line extend pump life. |
