The patent pending design
has an all metal gear housing and gear train. The WARN Works
1700 has an easy to use heavy-duty rotary control switch for
power-in and power-out. The control switch can be mounted on
the motor or remotely. The multi-directional clutch is a
lever-actuated spring with a cam-over pin that is easy to engage
from any angle that makes free spool simple. The brake is a
self-locking gear train that holds full rated load and the wire rope
attachment let's you set the motor operation on the right or left
side. The WARN Works 1700. Truly a dynamo in a small package.
